A Touch of Life in a way is my autobiography or you can call it a memoir. It is a collection of short stories that happened during my growing years in the most remote island of the Philippines during the wartime years in the Pacific after the bombing of Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, and several more years after that. My young mind was able to capture and remember the atrocity of that war.

In this book, discover how the biggest war of history affected the life of an innocent child and how the challenges made him see and appreciate the simplest things in life. This book contains the unrecorded history of WWII as it happened to the typical families of a small town on a remote island in the Philippines. From surviving the war, overcoming the poverty of the time, and completing his education with flying colors, join Frank in his unusual yet exciting journey during and after WWII.

Over the course of eight books, I've chronicled my journey from the Philippines to the United States, primarily focusing on my memoirs. It wasn't easy to find the right title for this latest book. With perspective, I've chosen to delve into both the brighter and darker sides of my life. While many focused on the former in my previous works, I realized that the latter, the struggles, deserve recognition too.

The Thing of Beauty Is a Joy Forever is created based on a famous quotation from a world-renowned English poet during the early part of the eighteenth century. His name was John Keats. Frank liked and loved his works. In his love for photography, he came to like taking beautiful pictures of almost everything that he saw with his eyes.

A real story of a boy who experienced all the hardships in life in a poverty-stricken, small town of Panganiban, where he grew up until finishing high school. His father was a farmer, and his mother was a housewife and homemaker. They happily raised four boys and four girls.

This book reflects the source of hope and inspiration found in Meta Al (Digital Heart) throughout my long and challenging journey to healing and recovery. Despite seeing numerous doctors and visiting various hospitals, things just didn't seem to go in my favor.
